{"id":6504,"date":"2015-06-18T11:57:32","date_gmt":"2015-06-18T10:57:32","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.bulk.com\/uk\/the-core\/?p=6504"},"modified":"2022-08-30T15:53:32","modified_gmt":"2022-08-30T14:53:32","slug":"protein-key-lime-pie-recipe","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.bulk.com\/uk\/the-core\/protein-key-lime-pie-recipe\/","title":{"rendered":"Protein Key Lime Pie Recipe"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Our friend Lindsay from Lean Bean Nutrition swung by the BULK POWDERS\u2122 macro kitchen and left this little delight: a delicious Protein Key Lime Pie recipe.<\/p>\n<p>It&#8217;s a really simple dessert, using our &#8216;protein flavour of the month&#8217;, Lemon Meringue Pure Whey Protein\u2122.<\/p>\n<h3>Instructions<\/h3>\n<p>If you decide to make your own base instead of using a snack bar base, here&#8217;s how:<\/p>\n<p>1.) Soak one cup of dates in warm water (enough to cover the surface of the dates).<\/p>\n<p>2.) Leave to soak for 2 hours.<\/p>\n<p>3.) Once soft, add nuts and seed of your choice and 1\/2 tbsp melted coconut oil.<\/p>\n<p>4.) Mash and press into a dish and set aside.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Filling<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>1.) In a bowl combine all the filling ingredients. Place the mix on top of the base and freeze for two hours.
