We present this recipe for Protein waffles , fresh from the Gibraltareña kitchen kindly provided by Muscle Bakery.
With 15 g. Protein per waffle and less than 2 g. of fat, these waffles are magnificent, if you are controlling the calories and you want to treat yourself … indulge it with fruit or one of our outrageously tasty nut butters!
1.) Preheat the oven to approx 170ºC.
2.) Mix all the ingredients until obtaining a homogeneous mass.
3.) Pour into the waffle pan and bake 15 minutes until golden. Let it cool, unless you want to burn your hand and turn it onto a plate. Make sure, before turning them, that they don’t need a few more minutes of oven.
4.) If you have a waffle iron, you can pour the dough into it, we have not tried it.
5.) You can add your favorite ingredients: raspberries, peanut butter , hot chocolate, crispy cookies, etc …, Get them!
