Chocolate Protein Banana Bread

Made with our iconic Pure Whey Protein™ in chocolate flavour, this is definitely the most indulgent way to get your daily protein in. A soft, delicious fusion of decadent chocolate and bananas, this Chocolate Protein Banana Bread recipe is a step up from your regular banana bread loaf.

Ingredients (serves 8-10):

*You can substitute with sweetener like xylitol

 

Method:

  1. Preheat your oven to 180C/160C fan.
  2. Add the egg, oil and milk into a large bowl and whisk, then add in the mashed bananas and mix again. 
  3. Sift in the cacao powder, baking powder and salt, then add the protein powder, ultra fine oats, ground almonds and sugar/sweetener. Mix until everything is combined. 
  4. Transfer into a loaf tin (I used a 22×12 cm loaf tin).
  5. Sprinkle the chocolate chips no top, then bake for 50-55 minutes. 
  6. Leave to cool completely before slicing. 
  7. Enjoy!

Store in an air-tight container at room temperature for up to 4 days.
