If you are wondering – what actually is a frittata? Don’t worry, you’re in the right place. A frittata is an egg-based dish similar to an omelette that combines egg whites with a variety ingredients you might have on hand. This no-fuss recipe is a great way to pack in the veggies and is easy to change up by adding in your favourite ingredients. Perfect for a quick and tasty breakfast or healthy lunchtime meal, it makes a great side dish too – what’s not to love?
Ingredients:
- 220ml bulk™ Liquid Egg Whites
- 1 red chilli, chopped
- 1/2 yellow or orange pepper, chopped
- 2 spring onions, chopped
- 1 tsp bulk™ Active Seasonings
- Salt & pepper to taste
- 1/4 tsp garlic powder
- Bunch of coriander, finely chopped
- 30g light cheese
- 1 tortilla wrap
Method:
Preheat your oven to 180C
Add all the ingredients apart from the tortilla into a bowl and mix well.
Press the tortilla into a round 8” baking tray, then pour in the egg mixture.
Bake for 20-25 minutes and enjoy!
