Branched Chain Amino Acid (BCAA) powders provide three essential amino acids (leucine, isoleucine, and valine) that play a key role in muscle protein synthesis and energy production. Since the body cannot produce BCAAs on its own, they must be obtained through diet or supplementation.
Amino acids are the building blocks of proteins, essential for many biological processes in the body. There are 20 different amino acids, some of which the body can produce on its own (non-essential), and others that must be obtained through diet (essential). Leucine, isoleucine, and valine are part of a group called branched-chain amino acids (BCAAs), which are important components of protein.
